Abstract
In this paper we present a didactic unit in which cinema is used as didactic material to deal with intercultural issues within the teaching of Foreign Language. The unit proposes activities to talk about the stereotypes that Germans have of Italians and vice versa. The objectives of the didactic unit were the following: promote interest in knowing other cultural references, stimulate tolerance and enrich one’s own identity.
